Swiss Tradition
As many Swiss citizens know, the best "Schwingers" (wrestlers) measure their strength at wrestling festivals. A major goal is to strengthen the Swiss national identity, which has certainly been achieved so far, as wrestling is becoming increasingly established and is now perceived very intensely. This weekend, Switzerland celebrates the Eidgenössisches Schwingfest (Federal Wrestling and Alpine Festival) in Pratteln. To coincide with this year's Eidgenössisches Schwing- und Älplerfest, azado is introducing the new grill "der Eidgenosse - El Confederado". This strictly limited grill is intended to pick up on and continue the long-standing Swiss tradition. The azado grill "El Confederado" is embroidered on the wooden shelf area with the traditional leather strap from a "Muni" (bull). The edges are decorated with real, silver ornaments. The azado grill is also embellished on the wind deflector with the famous Matterhorn Alpine skyline. All these details of Swiss craftsmanship make your grill unique.
The design and production were carried out in collaboration with the family business ETRO AG, a professional in the folklore world.
Limited Edition
"El Confederado" is produced in a limited edition of only 12 pieces worldwide. Why exactly 12 pieces? The number comes from the year 1291. The Federal Charter of 1291 is considered the oldest constitutional document and founding charter of the Swiss Confederation. The limited grills are numbered from 1 to 12 and personalized with the names of the buyers. The cost of the 113 kg Muni grill, adorned with Swiss tradition, is CHF 12,910.-.

Instead of one kilogram of beef, which is standard for azado's premium delivery, each of the 12 owners will receive a yearly subscription to Swiss meat with their grill.
Number 1 has already been assigned and will be awarded to this year's wrestling king of the Federal Wrestling Festival.
