Unique design and outstanding functionality: with the Dubai Grill, azado takes grilling to a new, luxurious level. For this masterpiece, the Swiss manufacturer worked with the French crystal manufacture Lalique clamped together. The grill is delivered together with a Black Angus cattle bred in Switzerland.

The Dubai Grill was originally a custom-made product for a Sheikh from the United Arab Emirates. The secret of the legendary masterpiece was to be revealed at the Dubai International WOW Expo. But it didn't come to that. The fair has been postponed. The good thing about the story: The unique piece will remain in Switzerland for the time being and should be in Giardina in Zurich provide wow effects from March 13th to 17th, 2019.

With the 140-kilo colossus, the Swiss manufacturer azado is taking barbecuing fun to an unprecedented level. The makers have teamed up with the French crystal manufacturer Lalique - and thus clearly expressed their vision of luxury. Details such as the handles, shelf and gas regulator are made of colorless crystal, exclusively by respected designers and glassmakers. Lalique's floral patterns are evidence of prestige and attention to detail.

The chrome steel parts have been treated with the Black-Inox process, which creates a matt, shiny satin effect. The screws, chains and pins as well as other small parts are made of 24-carat gold. The strong color effect from Black Inox harmonises beautifully with the gold-plated details of the grill - and thus reflects the interplay of coal and fire. The windshield made of particularly light and heat-resistant titanium, which is otherwise only known from aviation, goes well with this.

With the Dubai Grill, azado founders Andreas Nöckl and Manuel Würth combine unique design with outstanding functionality. The gem, built according to the Argentine model, offers plenty of space for the easy-to-clean, V-shaped grate - a typical feature of the Argentine grill tradition. The profile of the grate is unique and can be infinitely adjusted in height using an ingenious coupling with a gearwheel.

More than 500 hours of planning, development and production went into this grill from the Swiss manufacturer azado. “It was a long adventure and a huge challenge for us,” says Andreas Nöckl. A lot of positive feedback is the reward for the great efforts. At the Giardina you can admire and enjoy the Dubai Grill - but it doesn't fit into every budget. According to the creators, it can be purchased for around CHF 250,000.

The standard grills from azado are usually delivered with a kilo of beef and duly inaugurated at the buyer's site. “This idea always met with great enthusiasm from our customers,” says Nöckl. For the exclusive Dubai Grill, of course, the makers wanted to come up with something special. So the buyer of this luxury grill receives a whole Black Angus cattle bred in Switzerland free of charge.
